SH 170 Corridor Management in Denton and Tarrant Counties

The NCTCOG’s Mobility 2030 plan identifies SH 170 Corridor as a four-six lane toll road divided into three sections. Section 1 from SH 114 IH 35W in Denton and Tarrant Counties is proposed to be a four lane-lane toll road. It currently exists as a six-lane, divided highway (future frontage roads) from SH 114 to IH 35W. Section 2 in Tarrant County is a proposed six-lane toll road with two one-way, two-lane frontage roads from IH 35W to US 81/287. Section 3 in Tarrant County is a proposed six-lane toll road from US 81/287 to SH 199, potentially with two one-way, two-lane, frontage roads except for the six-lane bridge section over Eagle Mountain Lake.
